Тип урока: обобщение знаний.

Вид урока: практическое занятие с элементами ролевой игры.

Цели урока:

1)                образовательные: закрепить умения

вести беседу на иностранном языке с использованием знакомой лексики.

2)                развивающая

развить речь, сформировать и развить культуру умственной деятельности

3)                воспитательные

4)                сформировать нравственные и эстетические представления системы взглядов на мир, способности следовать нормам поведения, выполнять законы.

 Оснащение урока: 1) презентация о Великобритании, Лондоне, родном городе.

2)                компьютер, мультимедийная установка.

Teacher: Good morning students. Take your seats. How are you? I am glad to hear  that you are fine. Today we shall have a talk about your future profession.

You study at the commercial department. I hope the economic situation will be stable soon, and foreign businessmen will come to our country. As you know English, it won’t be difficult for you to come to such country as Britain to persuade British businessmen to make investment to our economy

Teacher:  As I have said you have an opportunity to go on business in Great Britain. But what do you know about this country?

The British Isles lie in the north-west of Europe. They consist of two large islands, Great Britain and Ireland, and many smaller ones. Great Britain, the largest island in Europe, includes England, Scotland, and Wales. It is separated from Ireland by the Irish Sea and from the Continent by the English Channel and the Straits of Dover. Great Britain and Northern Ireland form the United Kingdom

The surface of England and Ireland is flat, but the surface of Scotland and Wales is mountainous. The mountains are almost all in the western part. The highest mountain in the United Kingdom is Ben Nevis in Scotland (1343 m).

 

The longest river is the Severn. It is in the south-west of England. The Thames is not so long as the Severn, it is shorter. The sea enters deeply into the land and has a great influence on the climate, which is damp but rather mild: the winter is not very cold and the summer is not very hot.
The 4^th student:

The UK is one of the world’s smallest countries. The population of the country is over 87 million and about 80% of it is urban. The UK is highly developed industrial country. It’s known as one of world’s largest producers and exporters of machinery, electronics, textile, aircraft and navigation equipment

Teacher:That’s good. But what do you know about political system of this country?

Great Britain is a monarchy. Officially the head of state is the Queen. But the power of the queen is limited by Parliament. Parliament in Great Britain has existed sinse1265 and is the oldest in the world. It consists of two Houses –the House of Lords and the House of Commons.

The House of Lords consists of 1000 peers who are not elected by the people. The House of Commons is a representative body which is elected by the people at a general election. After election the Queen appoints the Prime Minister. David Cameron is a Prime Minister now.

Teacher: Well, now let’s imagine that you are Russian businessmen who have come to Britain to sign contract to set joint-venture “A Beauty Par lour”

The leader of Russian businessmen: We are Russian businessmen. We have been made an appointment with the General Manager of your firm for today.

Miss Julia: We are waiting for you.

Miss Julia. We are glad to meet you. Have you ever been to London before?

Russian businessmen: No it’s our first visit to London.

Miss Julia What is your first impression of London?

Russian businessmen: We like London, it’s a very beautiful city and quite different from our town.

Miss Julia: I hope you’ll enjoy your visit.

English businessmen: Let’s get down to business

Russian businessmen:Right. We live in a little town but we want to have a modern Beauty Par lour with your help.

English businessmen: We can see any reason why we shouldn’t agree to you. Have you got our catalogues with you?

The leader of Russian businessmen: Yes. We have them with us.

The leader  of Russian businessmen: I think that your proposals are very attractive. I expect to make the Draft contract and after discussing it with you to conclude the Contract.

Miss Julia: I think it would help if we give you a little information on this matter. We have all necessary modern equipment and we are ready to deliver it to you if you want. We also have good specialists

The leader of Russian businessmen: We’ll be very glad if you give us some extra information about the Decree of joint venture

English businessmen: We hope that you know that the share of the Russian side in a joint venture is not less 51 percent we also must elect the chairman. we propose that Miss Julia be elected chairman If you support the nominations of Miss Julia please rise your hands (единогласно). Miss Julia we congratulate you.

Miss Julia: Now I suggest you to have a rest. Dear Ladies and gentleman I am going to inform you special sightseeing Programmer. You will see the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge, the Westminster Palace with Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus Trafalgar Square, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Buckingham Palace.

 The Tower of London is the oldest the royal residence. Founded by William the Conqueror in 1078, it was a fortress, a palace and a prison many years. Now it is a museum.

Tower Bridge symbolizes London to most people. It was built in 1894 near the Tower.

Westminster Palace is famous for its architecture and historical associations. It is a beautiful Gothic building. The first building was constructed as early as the 11th .century. It is the seat of British Parliament.

Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster is known as Big Ben. It was named after Sir Benjamin Hall under whose direction the construction was conducted.

Piccadilly Circus with its bronze fountain is considered to be the heart of the West End. About half a million people pass through Piccadilly Circus.

Trafalgar Square is named in memory of Nelson’s great victory. In the middle of the square stands the famous Nelson Column with the statue of Nelson on the top of it.

St .Paul’s Cathedral was built by Sir Christopher Wren between 1675 and 1710 years.

Buckingham Palace is known all over the world to be the home of Britain’s kings and queens Today the Queen lives at the Palace for only part of the year and when she is in her residence the Royal Standard is flown.

 

English businessmen: Well Ladies and gentlemen let’s get back to original point I’d like to know more about your town.

Russian businessmen: Oh no problems .We  have a presentation about our town.

English businessmen: You live in a little town don’t you? Is there any proof that our Beauty Par lour will be in popular demand with your public? Who will pay damages if we incur losses?

Russian businessmen: Oh,! Don’t worry! There is a metallurgical college in our town. All our students will be the clients of our Beauty Par lour.

English businessmen: We hope having carefully studies the documents by you the agreement to signed

(After talks in England the Russian businessmen have signed the contract between Continental Par lour Beauty’s Equipment and Krasny Sulin Systems for the supply of par lour beauty’s equipment.

Miss Julia: Let me read our contract:

Continental Par lour Beauty’s Equipment London, England, hereinafter referred to as” the Seller”, on the one part, and Krasny Sulin Systems Russia, hereinafter referred to as “the Buyer”, on the other part have concluded the contract as follows:

1. Subject of the Contract

1.1 The Seller undertakes and the Buyer buys on the basis of delivery FOB UK port the complete equipment and technical documentation of the par lour beauty’s equipment.

2. Prices and Total Value of the Contract

2.1The Total Contract Value is as follows

Equipment  and engineering FOB UK. Port +documentation – 10.000

Supervision, start-up and training                                               15.000

Freight                                                                                          20.000

Discount                                                                                        5%

Total Contract Value                                                                     40.000

2. Time of Delivery

2.1 The equipment of the present Contract is to be delivered within two (2) months from the date of the opening the Letter of Credit.

3. Terms of payment

The total amount of 40.000 shall be paid in English pounds by Bank of Foreign Economic Affairs.    

4. Technical Documentation

Within five (5) days from the delivery date the Seller shall send two (2) sets of the technical documents.

5. Guarantee of the Quality of the Equipment

The guarantee period is twelve (12) month from the date of the start-up of the equipment.

6. Marking

All the containers are to be marked n three (3) sides.

 

English businessmen: We have made a special effort and quoted you prices which leave us only a very small margin because we want to cooperate with you.

Russian businessmen: We much appreciate your special effort.

 

4.Рефлексия. Подведение итогов занятия (отношение к уроку).

Преподаватель подводит итоги урока, выставляет оценки.  На уроке каждый студент получил по 3 карточки (красную, желтую и зеленую). Преподаватель просит выбрать цвет, соответствующий их настроению на уроке. Каждый цвет означает следующее:

красный цвет - Я удовлетворен уроком, урок был полезен для меня. Я много, с пользой и хорошо работал на уроке. Я получил заслуженную оценку, я понимал всё, о чем говорилось и что делалось на уроке.

желтый цвет - Урок был интересен, и я принимал в нем активное участие, урок был в определенной степени полезен для меня, я отвечал. Я сумел выполнить все задания, мне было на уроке достаточно комфортно.

зеленый цвет - Пользы от урока я получил мало, я не очень понимал, о чём идет речь, мне это не очень нужно. К ответу на уроке ябыл не готов.

5. Домашнее задание. Составить контракт с английской фирмой на подготовку специалистов.
